Brief Answer:
Continue playing, eat less oils and fats.

Detailed Answer:
Hello Mr XXXXXXX

Thank you for posting your question here.

I have read your query carefully and have gone through the reports.

The reports indicate mild increase in triglycerides and VLDL cholesterol, and slightly lower HDl cholesterol.

This indicates a sedentary lifestyle.

I would advise you to continue playing badminton, but you will need more exercise, so it is best to start jogging every day to reduce the triglycerides and increase HDL cholesterol.

Reduce oil and fat in the diet.

As for the tiredness while climbing stairs, there doesn't seem to be anything grossly abnormal, however, it is best to consult a cardiologist once get yourself examined to rule out any serious issue.

It could also be due to hypothyroidism, so please do also get your thyroid profile done to look for any abnormality in thyroid function.

I hope this helps. Please feel free to write back if you need any clarifications.

Wishing you good health.

Best regards

Brief Answer:
Yes, good exercise helps reduce triglycerides.

Detailed Answer:
Hello again Mr. XXXXXXX

Yes, as mentioned in the above answer, good amount of exercise does reduce triglyceride levels and brings them down to normal levels. It also increases the good cholesterol (HDL) levels, which is good, and reduces the VLDL cholesterol levels.

As of now, I would not suggest any medicines to reduce the triglyceride and VLDL levels, because they are not very high.

Hope this answers your questions.

Best regards.
