Question: Hello doctor,
What is the right medicine for stomach pain due indigestion and gas during pregnancy . My gastroenterologist is suggesting drotin but my gynecologist is denying it. Drotin or cibis worked for me before pregnancy, can I continue any one of them.

If you are pregnant, you should only use dicyclomine when it is clearly needed.Avoid any other antispasmodic.
Take tablet spasmonil 10 mg twice daily contains dicyclomine along with it take cap vizylac twice daily(probiotic for better digestion).
For gas take proton pump inhibitor like Rabeprazole 20 mg once daily.
All three are very safe for fetus.
