Brief Answer:
Management of proctalgia pain

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for posting your query in Healthcaremagic.com.
This is Dr. Swarnava Dattagupta answering your query.

I understand your concern.
However, you have given a very short history. Hence, it is difficult to understand since when you are having this problem or how severe it is, also whether you had undergone any treatment for the same.
Anyways, proctalgia or proctalgia fugax is a disorder where there is moderate to severe anal pain due to spasm of anal muscles, mainly levator ani. The mechanism is not much known and the treatment also varies depending upon the duration and severity.
In acute pain, sitz or warm bath is very effective. Alongwith, local painkiller ointments like diclofenac or ibuprofen may give some relief. In prolonged pain which are somewhat rare, several measures like calcium channel blockers, beta agonists like salbutamol and even botulinum toxins are tried, giving variable results.
Basically, reassurance and maangement of pain, mostly acute is the mainstay of treatment.

Hope I have answered your question.
If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.
Regards.
