Suggest Home Remedies For Abscess On Back
Question: hi. my sister has an abscess on her back side that hurts very bad she has tried soaking and it won't work. any recommendations on home remedy ies to make it pop faster

Chances of recurrence are quite large when popped at home. I think it would be better off to meet up with a surgeon and get it drained. It also needs antibiotics.

thank you for the information. the abscess is open and slowely draining does she still need to get it cut

If its already draining then I guess the benefits of performing it at the doctor's office are reduced. However I still prefer getting it drained by the doctor since its more effective. Moreover I suggest getting the fluid cultured. This will allow us to start sensitive antibiotics.
