Brief Answer:
Do read the detailed reply, Regards

Detailed Answer:
Hello, I am Dr Mody and I would be addressing your concern.
Ideally most of the combination tablet are enteric coated, so when you break it into half, the coating goes off and the absorption dynamics of the medication changes

Now as I understand you want to break it into half because of higher frequency of urination, and that you have just started the medication.
Sir hereby I would like to inform you that in all hypertensive patient s there is some degree of initial fluid overload, so the hydrochlorthiazide component of the medication will remove the extra fluid , as soon as the extra fluid is removed and plateau is reached by a week s time the frequency of urination will decrease.
I would suggest you to take two tablets independently, losartan 100mg and hydrochlorthiazide 6.25 mg to start with and may titer up the medication as needed.
If no alternative available, yes you may break it into half, but just keep on monitoring the blood pressure.
Hoping I could help.
Let me know if any clarification needed or you may close the session.
Regards Dr Priyank Mody
