Question: I am using a morning smoothie consisting of coconut milk, live yogurt, green "superfood", half cup of frozen blueberries and tumeric with pepperine. Is this the correct mixture of nourishment for an 89 year old partially disabled male?

I read your question and i understand your concern. Yogurt, Blue berries, turmeric, piperine, blueberries altogether is a good mixture of nutrients and a perfect breakfast for someone of your age. Keep rotating the diet plan. Aim for caloric intake of 3 thousand calories in a day . Make 40 to 50 % of it from carbs, 30 % proteins and 20 % fats. Consult a dietitian or a nutritionist locally and let them make a complete dietary plan for whole month and follow it . As far as your morning smoothie ingredients are concerned, i dont see any reason to worry about the combination concerning your health and age and associated comorbidities. Its safe and rather helpful.
