Brief Answer:
Start with light foods, small portions, evtl. supportive counceling
Detailed Answer:
Dear patient,
usually after a bulimic attac it is ok to start with light foods in small portions such as soup, banana, ginger cookies (just examples).
In general for bulimia, it can be very helpful to get psychological counceling, if that is available to you.
Best regards and wishes,

I typed badly - it was a BILIOUS attack, not bulimic!
However, I feel that ypur kind advice still applies.
I still have faint pain from time to time in the area of my liver but hope that will continue to decrease in severity

Brief Answer:
Advice still applies, but also ultrasound recommendable
Detailed Answer:
Dear Patient, sorry about the misunderstanding,
but the advice of light food still applies. I would normally also do an ultrasound of the gall bladder and liver region to see if there is any inflammation of the gallbladder or gallstones since that would need further treatment.
Kind regards
