Suggest Diagnostic Test For Pancreatitis

Question: My husband is to have a test which he thinks the doctor said RSCP, and if he has this test he will be in the hospital for one week then another two weeks at home. He also said he was told that if he had this test it might cause pancreas. Could you tell me what this test is?

He stated that when he put XXXXXXX in his arm, he would be hospitalization for one week and it would be a possibility he could get pancreas. He had a CMP done to check his liver. He has pain under his right side just below the rib cage and the pain can go around to his back. My husband also told them that he felt a knock under his rib cage and rubbed it back in and one doctor told him that he probably push a hernia back in the hole.s my question not plain? It has been an hour or more with no answer. The first question was answered and was asked to let them know the symptoms, etc. I paid for some answers, just trying to get a second opinion that's all.

Still RSCP test is not clear.
Your husband's findings may suggest need for CT scan but it is on OPD basis.
CT scan is best for evaluating pancreas,I think it might be the test suggested.
But,patient doesn't require hospital admission.
Probably there is no abbreviation termed as RSCP.
I suggest to discuss with treating doctor.
