Brief Answer:
STD panel tests

Detailed Answer:
Hi.

STD panel includes screening tests for Hiv, Syphilis (i.e VDRL and TPHA), Herpes (Hsv ELISA), Gonorrhea and chlamydia (Urine test Or Swab test), Australia antigen (HBsAg).
Trichomoniasis, scabies, chancroid, LGV (IgG for chlamydia and Nucleic acid amplification test (NAAT Screening)) are usually not screened routinely and would be tested at tertiary care centers/ hospitals, only if there ae signs or symptoms suggestive of these STDs.
You can specifcally ask the lab to test for most common HPV genital types i.e 6, 11, 16, 18 but it is commonly not included in screening.

Brief Answer:
STD panel

Detailed Answer:
Hi.

You can ask them for STD/ STI panel. STD panel includes test for Hiv, syphilis, herpes, chlamydia and gonorrhea.
Hiv test at lal path lab is a 4 th generation screning test and would include testing for Hiv, P 24 antigen and anti-Hiv antibody. This test is also known as Hiv Duo test and is commonly used for screening. It can detect Hiv infection as early as 2 weeks after a possible infection.
PCR RNA for Hiv is not a routine screening test. It is expensive and is used to monitor response to to treatment by measuring viral load in those who are already Hiv positive. I won't suggest this test for screening.
