Stage 4 lung cancer is really unfortunate , and you must be knowing that it takes everything to fight, from patient's courage to family's emotional roller coaster and financial pressure. On the other hand doctors have to use all their means to save the patient, lung cancer spreads like anything and at stage 4 there are huge chances it can spread to brain.

Your sister would already have endured so much emotionally and physically through this journey I would suggest you to motivate her to go through this,doctors indeed would make best decision for her, I am not assuring you that this will work but this is better than doing nothing and waiting for the cancer to spread to her brain. It is going to be a tough fight with minor chances to win but you have to do your best till you end up knowing what happened in the end. Yes there are people who have survived , all we can do is , fight with the best means we have.
