Question: Hi,
Please see my health profile, I have gained weight during pregnancy and also been diagnosed by Hypothyroidism during 3rd month of pregnancy. I have started with 75mcg of Thyroxine and currently taking 100mcg. I have gained weight from 72Kg to 78Kg during last 3 years and which is a slow gain. If i try exercise,I have to work harder than a normal person of my age and weight to get the weight reduced.

Please suggest me healthy weight loss plan, It could include exercise or a diet plan.
I don't have Blood pressure or Diabetes.
And also I wish to plan for second baby in another 6 months, Suggest me how much should i reduce and also the Thyroid levels which are permissible for carrying a baby.

Brief Answer:
I will need your recent thyroid reports to comment

Detailed Answer:
Dear Venkata, Hi! welcome to HCM. As you have hypothyroidism and your doctor has asked you to increase the dose that must have been based on your thyroid function test and must be a correct decision.
with hypothyroidism definitely slow basal metabolic rate , weight loss becomes a challenge. but you can take that challenge.
1. keep TSH <2 uIU/ml
2. keep FT4>1.4ng/dl
3. exercise 45 min a day
4. diet balanced, low calorie. no sugar, no fried, no maida, no juices, no aerated drinks. regular meals, small in size, low in calories high in fibers.
pregnancy targets are also the same as i told you. avoid putting on excessive weight in second pregnancy so that you don't find it difficult to lose it.
regards!
