Brief Answer:
More information needed about seizures nature.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for using HCM.

I have read your question and understand your concerns.

Ativan ( lorazepam ) is used to treat seizures in short term meaning.

If seizures diagnosed correctly, treatment consists on seizures nature i.e. are the seizures partial, complex partial, or generalized.

So, if you prescribe more accurately the characteristics of seizures ( warning signs, abrupt or gradual onset, duration, loss of consciousness or not, limbs jerking ), I could have a better understanding of your condition and could recommend the best treatment possibilities.

In addition, if you had done EEG and/or brain imaging studies, you can upload the report.

Drugs used to control seizures include carbamazepine, valproate, Topiramate, etc.

Hope you found the answer helpful.

Awaiting for more information....
