Suggest An Alternative Medication For Sofradex Ear Drops Taken For Ear Infection
Question: Hey dr,
I have been using Sofradex 4 drops daily for exactly two weeks now because of an inflammed ear that I had. I went back to the doctor about a week in and said that there hadn't been much improvement and he said continue to use until the end of this week. But now a week later from my last visit I seem to finally be able to hear fairly well in my right ear where as before I could barely hear from it at all. There still is tinnitus but it's bearable but there is no pain anymore and the blocked sensation has pretty much gone. Is it ok for me to stop sofradex or should I continue to the end of the week like the doctor originally said last week?

Thanks for that doctor one thing when I use the Sofradex it seems to make my ear seem blocked again when first putting them in is that normal because of the fact that there is drops blocking the ear?
