Question: I take Eliquis I am in the donut hole I went to pick up my prescription,and it was 365.00 for a 60 tablets which is a30 day supply.is there a generic or something that would be less expensive and work as well

Unfortunately this is the biggest issue with Eliquis. Your primary care doctor or cardiologist should have discount cards and or samples that should be able to get for you. You can also check on www.goorx.com for coupons. The manufacture gives huge discounts for people that can not afford it. If you check on their website you should be able to get an application to fill out. Your pharmacist, primary care doctor, and or cardiologist can help you with the paper work. The alternative would be warfarin, lovenox, or heparin depending on your medical condition. All 3 are cheaper options.
