Suggest An Alternative Medication For Drotin

Question: Hi Doctor,

Further to our last conversation, I went to the pharmacy but Drotin is not available over the counter in Canada :(

The pharmacist said it is not available in Canada.

Please advise if there could be an altermate medicine ?

If you DON'T get the medicine (DROTIN) over the counter in Canada, I can suggest you another medicine alternatively. Hope, you will get the following medicine.

Mefenamic acid group of drug can be taken to get relieve from menstrual cramp or lower abdominal pain and it is available as PONSTEL (250 mg) for mild pain or PONSTEL FORTE (500 mg) for moderate degree pain. They are available over the counter.
