Brief Answer:
HIV infection is almost ruled out

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day

Dear Ms,

Antigen test are much more sensitive and specific test for detection of HIV infection. They become positive if an individuak is infected even in the serological window period( which is 2-3 months).
As you have had both antigen and antibody negative at 3 months, possibility of HIV infection is completely ruled out.
P24 antigen assay and RT (Reverse transcriptase) PCR(polymerase chain reaction ) were sensitive and specific test.
The symptoms which you would be experiencing is due to other causes and definitely not due to HIV infection. I would suggest you to get back to me with the details of symptoms you are experiencing. Do not worry , will guide you throughout.

Take Care

Brief Answer:
It is definitely not HIV infection

Detailed Answer:
Dear Ms,

The bluish discoloration of nails is due to cyanosis ( peripheral cyanosis). It could occur due to
1. Exposure to cold
2. Anxiety and stress lead on to cold and calmy hands: It produces vasoconstriction causing slowing of blood flow and increased quantity of reduced hemoglobin being present causing cyanosis.
I hope you have been thoroughly examined by your physician. The symptoms which you are experiencing are likely to be stress and anxiety related. HIV is absolutely ruled out.
As per CDC(Centre for disease control) guidelines if antigen test done after 2 weeks of exposure is negative , no further testing is required. As you have mentioned your 3 month test is normal there is no cause for concern.

The diagnosis of cause of rash will depend on visual examination. The cause could be anything but definitely not HIV infection.

Do get back if you need any further assistance.

Take CAre

Regards
Deepak

Dear Dr
I just red some thing that makes me more nerves : "During acute HIV infection, a person may test negative on the standard HIV test, because he/she has not yet produced antibody to HIV; however, the HIV viruses will be present in the blood and the viral load test will be positive."
According to this saying and some other sites that said seroconversion illness can be delayed to several months is it possible that my antigen and antibody test is fals and I should go for a viral load test to be sure?
Thanks

Brief Answer:
There is no cause for concern

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Greetings

I would reassure you there is no cause for concern.

I had clearly mentioned you maximum therapeutic serlogical window period is 3 months. Also your antigen test are negative, antigen testing directly detects virus unlike relying on antibodies.
Internet is ocean of knowledge. But authenticity of everything you come across is not guaranteed.

Relax and chill out. There is absolutely no cause for concern.

Dear Dr
Hi
Sorry I know you reassured me but since my expuser was due to surgery(an abortion which was not in clinic or hospital) and I am not sure of the means they used I can't come over my anxiety by all these symphtoms that I get new ones.Today I find this(the picture that I uploaded) on my lip.can it be a Hiv herpes?
doctor
Answered by Dr. Deepak Kishore Kaltari (40 minutes later)
Brief Answer:
It is not Herpes infection

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Greetings
Dear Ms

Thanks for providing me the clinical photograph. The lesion are not Herpes infection. It is angular stomatitis usually caused due to Vitamin deficiency.
Herpes infection is site and dermatome specific. If the site of exposure was oral cavity it leads to Oral lesion.
As you mentioned it was non medical abortion, the oral lesion are unlikely to be herpes.

Rest be assured there is no cause for concern.
Taking Vitamin supplements along with local application of Glycerine will be helpful

Do not hesitate to contact me anytime for any issue.
Wish you great health
