So I Take Paliperidone And Aripiprazole That Caused Erectile Dysfunction

Question: So I take paliperidone and aripiprazole that caused erectile dysfunction. Urology test result (blood test, hormone test, semen test etc.) showed that everything is normal. Urology test result paper ends with a final remark that I have "erectile dysfunction for unspecified reason". The urologist didn't tell me that it’s because of the antipsychotics, probably because he didn't want me to stop taking antipsychotics. He just told me that I am okay in every regard and that I need to stop thinking about erection. But I realized it’s due to antipsychotics ,
So, I finally got the results from the urologist, and I have several options, which is equivalent to having no option at all, because each and every options are worse than committing suicide. This is simply a dilemma and running in circles going through the options drive me crazy cause it gets me nowhere. A) I stop both Invega and abilify (This is how things ought to be, if only I didn’t have schizophrenia) – the fastest way to reach relapse. probably the very next day, starting with thought broadcasting or, whatever B) Stop Invega and stick to abilify (compared to invega, abilify is well known for “less sexual side effects” – relapse in 2 to 4 weeks, classic path towards relapse, starting with dysphoric mood C) try switching to a different drug and hope it doesn’t cause the same problem – Well, there is nothing to hope, it will cause ED, whether it is risperidone (known to be worse than Invega) clozapine or whatever. Decision to stick with Invega and abilify was made considering years of trying different drugs and the observation of how I do in a hospital ward for 4 months. So switching drugs make years of scrutiny and careful decisions into a joke. D) Keep going with invega and abilify, just accept reality – no sex and no love and no marriage for the rest of my life? E) Perhaps reduce antipsychotics when schizophrenia gets better maybe 10 years from now – I am pretty sure things will seem fine for months or even years and than something stressful happens than BAM. Relapse is a matter of time. Besides, I need sex life before my 20s are over. F) find a way to compensate ED caused by antipsychotics – well, Viagra had zero effect, ED-1000 shockwave therapy seems fraudulent, cavernosal injection, seems, well, I’d rather not have sex with that. And yes, exercise and quitting smoking, I am already doing that for many months.
So it left me with G) stop abilify, completely, stick to Invega and take Invega off 1-2 days before having sex.
Invega, a strong dopamine blocker, have higher affinity to bind (80-90% receptors) than abilify a partial dopamine blocker. Since Invega pills have short half-life, (23 hours) I can stop Invega just a day or two before having sex. That means that when I am having sex there is zero abilify and less than half Invega in my blood stream. By the way I take abilify maintena (1 month injection) so I must stop getting injections, wait a few months, stop Invega pills, and see if my sexual performance is better. But I do need to risk cumulative side effects of not taking Invega from time to time.
My question is: should I go for option G) ??
And by the way My psychiatrist nearly called a security guard to get me out because I refused to leave her office arguing with her. Now I don’t think it’s a good idea to convince her to change drug or anything. I didn't mean to make the question long, but I am sorry that i did. Thank you.

Brief Answer:
Its not a good thing to do that.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Not taking invega or missing the dose can make you resistant with the medicine so you will not respond to the medicine any more that can cause you relapse from schizophrenia. So its not a good thing to do that.

Eat healthy food, regular exercise, meeting with counselor and psychiatrist to help your feeling better.

I hope that I can help you, and please let me know if you have any clarification or question about that, and I would be welcome to discuss it with you further. I Hope you have good health.
