How Does Stress Cause Constriction Of Airways?

default
Posted on Tue, 14 Jun 2016
Question: So I made it to my own home, had a auto filled with things I brought back. I unloaded and after I finished I noticed that I was breathing harder than I should. I assume that this is due to the stress and inflammation in the airways.

The other night I had a aching back so I took 2 prescribed muscle relaxers along with my Lexapro sat bed time. I slept like a baby and felt fantastic the entire day. I did not try to do any exercise though.

I will say that I think the new Flovent is starting to work. I breathe easier but not fully like I used to. I think I need to give it more time I did not get so stressed overnight, it took time to get this way. So I need to give it time to calm down and come down.

Tonight I have a sleepover guest in my house. My granddaughter is staying the night

Brief Answer:
Your will definitely improve.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
See, I told you that you will definitely improve.
But I won't give whole credit to flovent.
It is combination of flovent with reduced stress and anxiety which give you excellent effect.
I am so happy for you.
My best wishes are always with you.
And with time, you will definitely improve.

Ok I need your info please
The combination of high stress and inflammation does what to exhaling. Does it constrict airways to make it hard to get all air out?

What about inhaling. Hard to get air in.

Is it a combined effect on the breathing process

I woke up in the night and did not fall back asleep and I noticed that when I wanted a deep breath it was limited until I pushed a little to expell what felt like nothing but a tiny puff of air

Is this part of inflammation and stress

I breath in but don't always get a full breath. If I push a bit I get a puff of air out and it seems to go awY for s bit is the inflammation to blame. It's been this way since all this stress began

I had amazing sleep 2 nights ago. Last night I did not follow the same procedure

I am gonna assume that the inflamed airways along with stress are causing the combination and perceived problems.

I have my physical in an hour. I will give him latest PFT and discuss it
