Dear Ms
There is no cause for concern. Urine infection is very common in woman between 40 to 50 years of age.
There is definitely no cause for concern because of following
1. Ultrasound only shows infection of bladder. Kidney and Ureter are normal.
2. No fever
3. Raised SER is common in Perimenopausal age
4. Cholesterol elevation is also common in Perimenopausal age. It's unrelated to bladder infection. It will require lipid lowering agent
If you do not have any urinary symptoms, no fever and pain in abdomen then there seems to be no cause of infection. Repeat Urine microscopy and if it is normal there is no cause for concern.
Do get back to me if you need any further assistance, will be glad to assist you.

There is painin my stomach area and around my flank area on both sides,i have had fever and still do even after on the antibiotics, still have blood in my urine as well.does that change anythung? I had a hysterectomy done 4 years ago due to bilattetal uterine carsinoma..
Brief Answer:
Cystoscope required for further assessment
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Greetings
Hysterectomy is unrelated to this, provided there was no urinary complaints in the immediate post operative period.
Presence of persistent blood in urine, in presence of ultrasound finding of only fever require further assessment by Cystoscopy.
I suggest you to consult your Urologist for further assessment.
Uncomplicated Cystitis usually does not cause fever.
Persistent infection could be due to resistant bacteria. Getting Urine culture and antibiotic sensitivity will guide in using appropriate antibiotic to which bacteria are susceptible.
Wishing you good health.
