Question: I fell and hit the back of my head. It was bleeding for a while. Now the dried blood and hair are covering the wound. Should I rinse the blood off or just wait and shave off the hair?

Brief Answer:
Do not rinse off the blood.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
It is best to avoid rinsing it off as the dislodgement of clot can cause the bleeding to start again. Do wait for the area to heal a bit for at least 3-5 days and then shave off the hair and monitor the progress. Do take oral antibiotics to avoid infection.
I hope this answers your query.
