Brief Answer:
It probably relates to medicine.

Hi,

Creatinine is a blood test that informs on kidney function. It is often used to screen for kidney disease. In addition, an elevated creatinine is a reason to reduce medicine doses for a wide range of drugs to avoid high blood levels.
