Brief Answer:
Change antibiotics ,Removing catheter will not help to resolve the problem

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for query ,

You had been catheterized to drain out your bladder and was detected to have blood in urine (hematuria)

This is most likely to be due to UTI which requires to be treated with appropriate antibiotics for a week .

Consult qualified Urologist for clinical assessment and get following basic tests done to establish diagnosis
1) urine routine and culture
2) Ultrasound Scanning of abdomen and pelvis .

Soreness in abdomen is due to drug induced gastritis which is known side effect of Amoxicillin .

In the mean while stop taking Amoxicillin and switch over to Ceexime and Nitrofuarantoin along with Pantaprozole twice daily.

Ensure to drink more water .

Do not remove the catheter at least for a week as it will aggravate the problem .

Hope I have answered your query ,please feel free to ask if you have more questions ,I shall be happy to help you
Thanks and Regards.
