Question: Severe itching, eye swollen shut, rash on the left side of my body, red face and also swollen. I went to a dermatologist and also to the ER and all of them said they were going to do a shotgun approach. They have ruled out scabies.

Probably an allergic reaction,examinations should be done.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

In my opinion,the symptoms seem to be related to an allergic reaction.
You can do a complete blood count to confirm the diagnosis.
Scabies is not excluded until the results of the analysis.

Meanwhile,some advice for treatment are:
-Take daily antihistamines to relief the itching
-Use calmine lotion for local relief
-Cool showers can help.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without the examinations.
