Posted on Wed, 20 Nov 2013
Question: I have a red bloch on my lower neck, it doesnt itch and has no bumps. I went to a dermatalogiest and he took one look and said it was the sun. I'm from Miami, we wear sun screen all year, no matter what the weather is. He recommeded zinc with my sun screen. This red bloch appeared when i moved to XXXXXXX Can you help.

Hi,

Sorry, due to some technical error query wasn't completely visible.

I have gone through the history entirely.

Thanks for the information.

Based on the history I too suspect it to be due to sun. To be sure I would like to have a look at the blotches you have.

Kindly photograph them and mail to YYYY@YYYY to my attention or attach the images right side of this page.

Waiting for the images,

This is not from the sun because i have been using 30+ sunscreen daily as far back as I could remember. If it were so I should have gotten it when I lived in Miami for over 25yrs. This came about when I moved to XXXXXXX in the past 2yrs. And why is it only on my neck and not on my face?? Will forward pic shortly/

Brief Answer:
Image would help me well

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Blotches if flat and not raised indicate sun burn.

If one can see a blotch raised and feel rubbery on touch can be due to erythematic reaction, allergic reaction or Urticaria.
