Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX
Thanks for posting your query.
I am Dr.Barani.
I went through your post.
It is unlikely that the pain is due to Gallbladder issue. This is because the CT scan did not show anything abnormal in Gallbladder. CT scan is good enough for diagnosing gallbladder issues.
No, numbness and tingling are not symptoms of gallbladder disease.
Gallbladder issues can cause liver enzymes to raise. But in your case gallbladder issue has been ruled out by CT scan. Moreover subtle changes in the liver enzyme levels are not significant.
It is less likely to be a primary liver issue.
Since you felt better with Omeprazole, Famotidine and Carafate, your symptoms could be due to peptic ulcer disease.
1. You need an upper GI endoscopy to confirm it.
2. Continue taking Omeprozole
3. Avoid coffee, citrus, tomatoes
4. Avoid painkiller medications.
Regards,
Dr.Barani
