Question: On 31.10.2019 I had a little chest pain and was admitted to NH hospital where ecg 7 eco and angiogram was done. Observation is minor cad. The doctor prescribed the following medicines.

Nitrocontine 2.6 at 7 a.m. & 3 p.m. protera 40, rozavel 20,ecosporin75. Prior to it i used to take nexovas 10, supermet xl 25,and pan 40 when there was acidity. Earlier I had a problem of acidity it is still there though not severe. Hoever I had history of nose-bleeding in childhood and the last being in 032016. I am 67 now.. My lapse was that I stopped ecospirin after 7 days. Even then I used to have chest pain at times.I visited my family physician 1&1/2 months back and he okayed the medicine. I categorically asked if I need to take ecospirin but he said since u have minor CAD you do not need it. Recent I had again visited him for my son . He enquired of my position and I said that I am having chest pain sometimes. He then changed my medicine and prescribed Deplatt 75 and said at your age ,take it but dropped Nitrocontin 2.6. He is a very renowned doctor ,MD,MRCP. My query is discontinuance of Nitrocontin ok?. I am not having chest pain now or almos very mild and rarely. If I have chest pain ever , shall I take nitrocontine?

in the meantime my B.P. is seen elevated 138/88 or a little higher. So my local doctor( not the same doctr0 has added nexovas 10 at night besides nexovas 10 which I am regularly taking in the morning.

Brief Answer:
Needs to review your angiography report

Detailed Answer:
Hello Sir

After going through the medical query details provided by I can understand your concern for your health and well-being and before proceeding with any medical suggestion I would first like to review your coronary angiography report so that I’ll be able to know the status of your CAD exactly.

Knowing the angiography report is important so as to know whether the disease is in any major vessel or in the branch vessels as that will affect the opinion.

Kindly upload the report of angiography.

Kind Regards
