Hi,

Thank you for posting your query.

The most likely cause for your symptoms could be a transient ischemic attack- TIA.

You require evaluation by a neurologist to confirm this and to identify the risk factors for TIA in you.

You should be on Aspirin tablets in view of past history of TIA.

Best wishes,

Dear Dr,
Thank you. Let me ask you, you do not think these symptoms are anxiety related or have anything to do with medications?
By the way, I take plavix. How concerned should I be with these recent episodes?

Hi,

Thank you for getting back with more details.

These are minor symptoms and you need not worry about them.

Since you are taking plavix, the risk of you getting a TIA is very low.

So, these symptoms could be due to minor mechanical pressure on the skin nerves during sleep or due to anxiety.

Best wishes,
