Welcome To Ask A Doctor Service
I have gone through your question, I understand your concern.
In every treatment, there is some side effects.
But if benefits outweigh the side effects than therapy must be given.
Similarly in critical anemia, blood transfusion is must. It can lead to sme side effects, but blood transfusion must be given.

I hope your query is clear now.

Actually do not need to worry.
Serum ferritin levels comes to normal within 7 to 10 after blood transfusion.
And raised serum ferritin for 7 to 10 days, does not cause any harm to body.
And to reduce quickly, just avoid iron rich foods, like spinach, meat, chicken, eggs, and other iron rich foods for 10 days.
I hope your query is clear now.
