Question: My bp was 165/109. At the clinic, NP doubled my medicine. XXXXXXX 3.125.
I was up about every hour couldn't sleep. Bp then was around 150/90.

Now it's 106/102. I took the medicine just now. My fingers are back to feeling numb like yesterfay.

I understand your concern and would like to explain that if high blood pressure values persist, adding another antihypertensive drug to your other ( an ACEI or ARB like valsartan, etc.) may be needed.

Did you mean 160/100mmHg? The reading of 106/102 doesn't make sense to me.

In the meantime, if your blood pressure values are so high, I would recommend taking 25mg Captopril sublingual.

A cup of lemon juice and some rest can help too.
