Murine Typhus - As I Understand In Most Case It

Question: Murine typhus -

As i understand in most case it is self limiting - very rare it cause severe disease !

As in are where it is common stereolente shows it is 20 - 40 % positive - but Murine typhus cases are rare

So i i ravel to are with Murine typhus prevalence my risk if getting serious infection is very low
Is it so ?

But in literature is said that Murine typhus from XXXXXXX and Asia is more severe !

However, travelers to Asia and XXXXXXX should note that the case fatality rate is thought to approach 70% in certain areas in which murine typhus occurs.
https://extension.entm.purdue.edu/publichealth/diseases/flea/typhus.html

So XXXXXXX and Asia Murine typhus is more deadly ?

So better understanding step by step !

1. Lot of people who live in Mediterranean sea ar serology positive positive for Murine typhus like Spain, Portugal and Greece as i understand also in Albania but severe recorded cases are rare - as i read from literature, so in conclusion it is self limiting - and rare case sever - ! Is it so ?

As this web site is not even scientific

https://extension.entm.purdue.edu/publichealth/diseases/flea/typhus.html

2. In all literature what i have read there is written that from no antibiotic treatment Murine typhus is only 4%

The mortality rate for murine typhus is low with use of appropriate antibiotics (1%), and it was noted to be 4% without use of antibiotics.
https://academic.oup.com/cid/article/46/6/913/349945

A can not find any sientific publication where it is written that mortality from murine typhus could be more than 4 %

Also this publication in France traveler from XXXXXXX an Asi and murine typhus mortality is 0%

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC0000/

So if it is not like that - Murine typhus travelers could be found in 32 case and no one cause death !

Is it not like that that travelers from XXXXXXX and Asi could have some other rare disease that is no diagnosed but
Murine typhus is diagnosed and it cause high mortality as it is late treated !

Because i can not find any publication that Asia And XXXXXXX Murine typhus is more deadly !

Than you !

Brief Answer:
Hi

Detailed Answer:
Yes I also could not find any such research. We cannot make conclusions due to lack of enough research on this. However since medical textbookds confirm that mortality due to Murine typhus is low, we can accept it for now.
I did check with a microbiologist doctor and his reply was as follows:
There is antigenic cross reactivity shared by murine typhus with strains of Proteus (ox19,oc2,oxk) detected by using Proteus antibodies. What is method of diagnosis is important. It cannot be cultured. I don't think these countries maybe using PCR.
