Medical Professionals At Lencrafters Keep Telling Me To WAIT Until I See Ophthalmologist For Eye Prescription. How Much Time Do I Have???
Question: RE: OVER TWO WEEKS SINCE UVEITIS DIAGNOSIS BUT NO TREATMENT NOR EYEDROP PRESCRIPTION BY LENSCRAFTERS PHYSICIAN(NOR OPHTHALMOLOGIST).
WILL IT GET WORSE?
I have been diagnosed with Uveitis a few weeks ago but the med professional at LensCrafters did not prescribe the eye drops that I neededed??
I had to purchase cheap over-the-counter eyedrops at the Dollar Store which only "temporarily" sooth pain and pressure symptoms of Uveitis but inflammation and redness are STILL present.
After almost 2 weeks of diagnosis, Im STILL taking cheap over-the-counter eyedrops.. No prescription from Doctor?
These cheap dollar store drops do not attack the Uveitis inflammation at all.
Just "temporarily" soothes the pressure and pain my right eye but Uveitis symptoms just come right back after cheap over th counter med drops wear off.
I FINALLY have an appointment to see The Ophthalmologist in 4 days but worried that my Uveitis NOT being treated could make it worse. How much time do I have to keep waiting for Eye Drop precription before I GO BLIND??
