HI I am 29 year old. This may not be directly due to masterbation but happens only when I masterbate. I lost muscles and I can sense mentally and physically from outside. I have read so many forums where they say this kind of pain as just mental abnormality. But I am feeling pain while and after masturbation. And I feel this pain in different parts of the body and I see the decrease in muscle after few months of masturbation. If you still don't know about how these are linked please accept it but dont misguide me by saying it is my psychological feeling. This started around 10 years ago but I neglected it by believing in most of the doctors who just follow the textbooks and never give a damn thought about exceptional cases where this could happen. I have test reports saying my Testosterone levels is almost below normal. Should I go for testosterone Injections?
I have some skin infection between my thighs and testicles and also on testicles. I am going to use Tinaderm solution(on one of the sexologist suggestion) for it but not yet started to use.
please suggest if I have to go for any more tests if the below tests are not sufficient
Below are the readings of my test reports:
Total Testosterone : 268.25 ng/dl (range 241-827 ng/dl)
FSH (ECLIA): 2 mIU/ml ( range 2-10)
LH (ECLIA) : 3 mIU/ml ( range 1.4-11)
PROLACTIN(ECLIA) : 20.5 ng/mL (range 3-18)
Testesterone (ECLIA) : 4.7 ng/ml (range 0.280-11.000)
Free Testosterone (ECLIA) : 111 pg/mL (range 50-210)

Thanks for posting the query.

I apologize for the delayed response.

You have reported of pain while and after masturbation and feeling that there has been reduction in the muscles after months of masturbation. While it is clear that you have pain at various parts of the body, it is not sure whether you are referring to the 'all the muscles of the body' or a 'specified group of muscles' when you said "decrease in muscle"

Masturbation is believed to be completely safe and harmless act. No side effects or complications have been proved to be associated with masturbation. So all allopathic doctors believe symptoms reported during and after masturbation to be due to psychological problems. However alternative medical practitioners have reported that "over masturbation can cause problems".

Though it isn't very clear about masturbation, low testosterone deficiency would be responsible for loss of muscle bulk and development of other physical changes.

I would like to discuss with few specialist before giving you a final and complete answer to your problem.

I sincerely apologies for the delay and I hope you would cooperate with me while I get you the complete answer as soon as possible.

I once again thank you.

I also want to know how semen is generated. Because I feel that when there are no sufficient hormones which are used for production of semen then in some rare case it might be using our muscles to produce semen. Because when I start masturbating I feel something is squeezing my muscles in some part of the body each time I masturbate and this is not specific to single part but legs, joints of both legs and hands, inner arms, ribs, chest, back near spinal chord, testicles, thighs.Even I can see some muscle mass disappearing from my face(chin and forehead) and gums too. I used to be very fit with all the muscles before 5 years. But now all my body parts are loose. I used to feel pain after masturbation for last 9 years but believing in all the doctors I neglected it as psychological but now from last one year I feel that same pain while masturbating too.previously base of my penis when erect was stiff with strong support. but now its like the plant where roots are not covered by sufficient mud. This might not be true with 99.0000% of the people but its true with me.Each time I masturbate I can say from which part of my body muscles will be reduced at that time.

Thanks for the query.

Let me answer your question in chronological order:

1. Your Hormone Profile is within Normal Limits.

2. Sperm is formed in the testes. No other organ in human body can produce sperms. Not even the muscles.

3. Just like any other workout, you are spending some energy for masturbation as well.

4. Do not relate your wasting of muscles with masturbation. It may be due to some other reason.

5. When you get orgasm, certain muscles will contract and release.

6. If you feel that masturbation is creating health problem, let me know the physical changes occurring while masturbation & sexual intercourse.

Hope this answers your query. In case of any doubts, I am available for the follow ups.

Wish you good health.

I have one more doubt by looking at my semen analysis:

Physical examination:

Volume 1.0 ml (range >=2ml)
colour Opalescent-white ( Normal )
Viscosity Normal but should be Viscid
Liquefaction time 30 min ( should be <=30min)

Chemical Examination :

PH is Alkaline should be >= 7.5
Fructose(Qualitative analysis) Absent (should be present)

Microscopic Examination :

Count 108 million/ml (should be >20 million/ml)
Motility: (should be >50 %)
Rapidly progressive 40%
Moderately progressive 10%
sluggishly progressive 05%
immotile 45%

Normal forms 55% (should be >=30%)

Other findings
Epithelial cells 0-1 /hpf
Pus cells 0-1 /hpf
RBCs Nil

From the above report I can see that few things are abnormal in semen

1) Volume <2ml
2) Viscocity is normal which should be Viscid
3) Liquefastion time is 30min where as it should be <30min
4) Fructose is absent
5) Motality is only 50% removing sluggishly progressive sperms.

By the above observation and the description given in WWW.WWWW.WW I see that there is some problem with Seminal vesicle.
Can I know how can I find out issues with Seminal vesicle or prostate ?? No offence but If you are not the specialist, please pass this information to the specialist and send me the answer.

What ever I am saying is true regarding loss of muscles but why is not yet discovered. my case might be rare where nothing is found yet or no one has entered into this field in finding out how muscles can be lost by masturbation. But surely I am facing the problem and the cause is not yet known. I am 100% sure that I am losing muscles only by masturbation because if I dont masturbate for more than one week, I feel normal without any pains in any part of the body.

You did not respond to my query regarding the physiological difference happening in our body during masturbation and sexual intercourse.

1. The amount of semen depends on the frequency of ejaculation. If the frequency is more, volume may be less. If the frequency is less, ie the sexual act is done once in a fortnight, the volume may be more.

2. As per NICE, UK guidelines, liquefaction time is normal upto 60 minutes.

3. 50% or more motile sperms are considered as within normal limts.

4. The patency of seminal vessels can be studied using radiological methods. It is better to undergo physical examination before considering radiological diagnostic tests.

Let me assure you once again, that masturbation is a normal act. And all your reports are under normal limits. I have discussed about your case with number of urologist / sexologist and all the specialist agree with this fact.

Thanks once again. Hope my answer is reassuring and informative.

Best Regards
