Question: Male, 72 years, h/o - HTN on medication ; ECG - QS in Lead III and AVF ; 2 D Echo ( As per attachment ) s/o : Aortic Valve : Sclerotic
Mitral Valve : Annular Calcification present

Hello

Although the echo report of the patient is normal however the ecg attaches is suggestive of atrial fibrillation. Patient needs a repeat ecg and HOLTER monitoring as a part of further evaluation.

Atrial Fibrillation is a underlying risk factor for stroke in elderly patients if left untreated or inappropriately treated. If stroke happens patient will need hospitalisation.
