My wife aged 34 years & have 1 son 8 years old.We recently consulted doctor as there was 1 miscarriage & 1 child aborted due to high risk in double marker test however it was unfortunate that confirmatory test could not be done.
After consultation of doctor prescribed meprate and then primolut n .After meprate taking ; during period of 3 day primolut n started for 21 days & wife is not getting period & period is delayed by 1 week.
Please advise as after 1 at period again cycle of meprate and then primolut has to be started.
I think I have not understood the right way of taking medicine.
Please advise .wife is concerned about the period.

I have seen the attached prescription and the tablets. After taking primolut N two tablets twice a day for 21 days, your wife should have withdrawal bleeding after stopping taking the tablets. She can start with Meprate once the periods start. The periods will start after her 21 days of primolut N are completed. Once she has regular periods for two cycles ( with the help of tablets), then she can try for conception.

She has stopped primolut n after taking 21 days & she has not got period since 10 days after stopping of primolut n tablet .She is worried as could not getting period.

After stopping Primolut N the periods usually start in 3-5 days. If it has been more than a week since she has stopped the tablet then she should consult her gynecologist to rule out any hormonl disturbance or PCOD.
