Last Weekend When I Was Riding In The Car, I
Question: Last weekend when I was riding in the car, I was rubbing my right eye with my right handed finger to rub off the itch. When we got to the speed bump, the fingertip, which is short nailed, poked the side of my right eye by accident. My eye is still OK, just poked by accident. But is poking my right eye with my finger would affect the thalamus inside my mind, thus starting my diagnosis with the familial fatal insomnia?
Brief Answer:
Eyes are nothing to do with thalamus
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for the query.
Thalamus is a deep seated brain structure located inside the brain.
Poking your eyes with finger won’t cause any problem to your thalamus.
Your insomnia is a genetic disease and not an aquifer one.
Thanks

What causes the thalamus to be damaged inside my mind other than poking my eye with my finger by accident?
