As all your tests have come negative from beginning till now. I do not see any chance of HIV.
It is conclusive that you do not have HIV.
You do not need test again
All symptoms are non specific. Lymph Node can be due to respiratory infection.
3 months tests come positive if infected
You can totally allay fears of HIV.

Hi thank you doctor for the answer..one more thing why some countries including mine, state window period in between 3 to 6 month? Is there any reason for that? As for the answer meaning the test can detect all strain/subtype of hiv right?

Brief Answer:
window period is 3-6 months

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thank you for follow up query.

the window period is given a time range of 3-6 months. usually antibodies are formed by 3 months. very rarely in few individuals with malnourishment they may not be able to produce antibodies. so the range is given until 6 months.

The test are able to detect the subtypes and there is no need to worry.

You can get back to me for any clarifications else please close the discussion and rate.

hi doctor its me again..now i have panic regarding my swollen lymph node..does my swollen lymph node on week of 16 indicate late/delay seroconversion? if yes do i need to retest for that?
doctor
Answered by Dr. Bharatesh Devendra Basti (15 minutes later)
Brief Answer:
unlikely due to ars and no need for retest.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thank you for follow up query.
The site size of lymph Node is not clear.
Usually they are due to local infection.if they are more than 2 cm size in more than 3 groups of lymph nodes and persistent then there is need for investigation. Otherwise no need to worry you can relax as already your tests are negative.
I do not see need for HIV investigation again.
Treat the local infection (wound or respiratory etc depending on site) on consultation with your doctor.

Brief Answer:
not due to HIV.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thank you for follow up.
So it is likely to be due to respiratory infection and the description given does not point to hiv in anyway.
So be calm relax and forget the episode. Do not think about HIV. All your tests are negative. These are not due to HIV.
There are remotest possible of getting positive in your case nil.
So do some yoga meditation exercises involve in activities which you like to forget about it.
