Muscle spasm

Detailed Answer:
Hi there. Welcome to Healthcare Magic.

I have read your query and understood your problem.

Do you have any localised link on the back ?

Do you have low back pain tag radiates to the lower limbs ?

Do you have any tingling or numbness ?

According to the history you have provided, to see suffering from muscle spasm of the muscles of your lower back.

Usually muscle spasm does not reveal anything positive in an ultrasound scan, unless it is a localised muscle mass or tumour.

Three are many causes for swelling of the muscles of the lower back, namely Mechanical back pain such is caused by bad posture at work. Even Slipped disc can pinch a nerve moving from the back to the lower limb causing muscle spasm. Vertebral anomalies and associated trauma can aisi cause similar features. Aisi infective love Tuberculosis of the spine can cause the same.

I would advise you to avoid bending forwards, lifting heavy weights. Perform warm soaks over the region of muscle spasms to improve blood circulation and reduce muscle spasm. You can consume Tablet Ibuprofen 200mg twice a day over a meal for pain relief. Pain killer with middle relaxant gel is also available which is useful in such situations.

Eat healthy. Keep well hydrated. Avoid smoking and drinking alcohol. Follow ergonomics at work to reduce the chance of mechanical back pain.

Muscle spasm due to any cause needs a thorough examination by your Orthopaedic surgeon to rule out causes of the same so that the treatment is decided soon. Necessary investigations like Xray, MRI spine may be required according to your Doctor's advice.

I hope I have answered your query.
