Patient takes Humalogmix insulin 25/75 18 units in the morning and Lantus insulin 20 units in the night. wound opened and abscess removed a month back.Wound is now reddish all over(inner layer..not the outer skin) and remains moist.Wound doesnt look dry.Physician says it is the sign of new tissue growth and healing.Is it so?
