hi not much to worry

Detailed Answer:

hi
welcome to HCM
thank you for your query.
I understand your concern.
well worthwhile checking your amylase from another lab just to reconfirm if still elevated look for any salivary gland problems which can cause rise in amylase with normal lipase and absence of abdominal pain. if it is elevated in absence of abdominal pain then can consider getting an sonography of abdomen and if deemed necessary by your doctor can consider doing a ct scan of abdomen.
pile is unlikely to be related to it.
hope this answers your query.
best wishes

Took a second blood analysis. Value still high.
Dont have any know salivary gland problem. Will i have any symptoms ?
Could this be in any case a high amylase relate to a pre diabetic symptom, since it is related to pancreas? Are there any connection?

Brief Answer:
Hi

Detailed Answer:
Hello Mr XXXXXXX
Thank you for your query
Well if the second value is still high worthwhile getting an evaluation by a gastroenterology specialist as he might ask for a CT scan to rule out a pancreatic problem which is very unlikely.
Also worthwhile seeing an Ent specialist later to look for any salivary gland swelling or infection.
Ideally isoamylase tests to look for origin of amylase may be needed but not yet available in XXXXXXX Unlikely it is related to pre-diabetic condition unless you are diagnosed to have an illness called chronic pancreatitis on testing which looks unlikely also.
Hope this answers your questions
Best wishes.
