Brief Answer:
ipill not needed.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome to HCM.

I can understand your concerns.

As you had intercourse in safe period, the chances of pregnancy are negligible.

Ipill is not required anyhow.

But, ipill is safe to take at anytime of menstrual cycle. It is most effective when taken within 72 hours of unprotected intercourse.

Hope this helps.

It means I pill is not required.
Just wanted to share more details for final confirmation.
My wife menstruation cycle is normal and she is 30 years. Seeing last one year data her cycle time is between 26th to 31st day both sides.
On average it it is 28 to 30 days cycle for last one year. Mostly we have unprotected sex at last from day 24th to 29. But this is first time we did this
Please advice

Brief Answer:
Day 1-7 and day 21 and beyond of menstrual cycle is safe period.

Detailed Answer:
I have read the details.

Days 1 to 7 and day 21 to rest of the cycle is considered as Safe Period for intercourse.

Since you had intercourse on 5th day of cycle, this is within the safe period.

So, in my opinion, ipill is not needed.

But, if you had any doubts, taking an ipill does not cause any long term harm.

Hope this helps.

I wish you well.

Take care.
Thanks.
