Is Pregnancy Possible Through Intercourse 3 Days Before Menstruation?

Question: I had unprotected sex with a friend 3 days before her period was due. She wasn't on birth control, but she freaked out and went and took 4 birth control pills that same night. 3 days later she still didn't have her period yet and took 4 more pills. Now she's 3 days late. I told her that she probably screwed up her hormones with the pills and stress is throwing off her period as well. What are the chances that she is pregnant??

Since you had unprotected sex 3 days before her period was due, the chances of pregnancy are very unlikely. The delay in period could well be due to stress and hormonal imbalance caused by birth control pills. Ask her not to panic as there is not even 1% chances of pregnancy and periods will happen in a day or two.

Well, doctor her period is now 5 days late. I agree with you that it's due to a combination of stress and hormonal imbalance, but how long will the delay be and is it a chance she doesn't have a period at all this cycle?

periods might get delayed for about a week to 10 days. But she will have periods, she has to, as its unlikely that she will go without periods in a cycle.
