Is Pregnancy A Possibility While Bleeding Continuously After Unwanted-72 Intake?

Question: I took an emergency contraceptive pill(Unwanted 72) and after 5-6 days i started bleeding and it wont stop.
i went to the OBGYN and she said my inner lining of uterus is damaged they cant do anything until the bleeding stops. Now its been 15 days and am still bleeding and it hurts.
- i want to know if i am pregnant ?
- was i pregnant and its a miscarriage ?
- what should i do to make the bleeding stop ?

Hello,

The bleeding is not suggestive of a miscarriage. To stop the bleeding you need to start with hormonal pills like norethisterone 5 mg thrice a day. This should be continued for 10 days and then after you get the normal period you can start with a regular contraceptive pill to get regular and normal periods back.
