Hello,

Welcome to Health Care Magic.

Thanks for writing.

I am Dr.Muhammad Ahmad. I have read your question completely, i understand your concern and will try to help you in best way possible.

there is no evident reason for your head ache, if you suspect that this might be your blood pressure causing it, the best way to know if that's the case is to check your BP when you have this pain.

Head aches have many causes , it might be your bad sleep...bad stomach...tired body...low hemoglobin...mental stress..anxiety etc..

I would suggest you not to be much anxious but if this pain is disturbing your everyday life and it is wuite frequent then you should visit a neurologist to rule out different kinds of head aches.

As i said bad posture can be a cause as when because it causes muscle stretching. Dehydration is rarelt a cause but not eating something for long periods is a cause.. Body gets low in glucose and head ache can be there..

Stuff like coffee caffeine fizzy drinks cheese etc can aggravate the pain in few peoplem

Best suggestion I can give you is to avoid use of pain killers as much as you can and to consult a neurologist when possible.. This will alleviate your anxiety plus neurologist may help you with proper medication.

Do chek your BP often to know if its fluctuating.

I hope this answered your question, a
if you have more please feel free to ask.

What do you mean if my BP is fluctuating ? Should BP be set at a certain reading ? Because sometimes i do check my BP . When im in pain and i panic if goes high but after a while it goes down . Once i relax and calm down . Do i still need to see a doctor for that ?

Brief Answer:
You will just have to find out possible causes.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for writing back, every body faces fluctuation in BP when faces a stress... but in some people fluctuation is more than normal...like upper and lower extreams are quite distant, in those people there may be head ache or heavy headedness due to BP fluctuation.

That's why i suggested you to check your BP regularly so that a trend can be seen about maxiumum and minimum limits.

One usually doesn't have to see a doctor for head ache... usually controlling the causes which I told you previously can improve symptoms much. But if this pain is very freuqent or its hindering in your everyday activities then it's better to get a checkup.

Regards.

Dr.Ahmad
