Thank you!

Any ideas? All the "codone" drugs scare me but a day of true relief is hard to come by without taking one or two which I do on a rare occasion. What about Dilaudid?? Is it any less habit forming? Never taken it, just heard the name.

Brief Answer:
Opioid drug

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear
Welcome back and thanks for the follow up
I understand your concern

Dilaudid contains Hydromorphone Hydrochloride, an opioid which is known to cause dependence (comparitively less to other opioid drug).

It is prescribed after proper examination and after consideration of adverse effects, pain intensity.
You can discuss with your doctor for necessary prescription.
It should be started in low dose and even a slight overdose may cause serious adverse effects.
