Brief Answer:
There has to be some other cause

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for choosing health care magic for posting your query.
I have gone through your question in detail and I can understand what you are going through.
Dry mouth can occur with lithium and this problem gets reversed after stopping lithium. In most of the cases, the reversal takes place in 3-4 weeks. It cannot persist for 4 months. If it has persisted then there is a problem and needs to be corrected. There could be plenty of causes for the dry mouth. If you are on any other drug, get them evaluated by your doctor and get them changed. Also try drinking plenty of water.
Hope I am able to answer your concerns.
If you have any further query, I would be glad to help you.
