Is Laser Treatment Safe For Hyperpigmentation?

Question: sir is Lazer treatment for pigmentation is ok or we have to stay as it is?
is it totally safe .

Laser treatment is usually safe for pigmentation if got done by an expert with good experience of using laser but it can still lead to some side effects.
In darker individuals there can be hyperpigmentation, worsening or recurrence of the skin condition for which laser is being done. These are unpredictable and can occur inspite of all the precautions.
In some cases it may not be possible to get rid of complete pigmentation.
Moreover multiple sittings are required.

Q switched XXXXXXX alexandrite and Nd-YAG lasers are used for pigmentation

Detailed Answer:
Lasers normally used for pigmentation are Q- switched XXXXXXX alexandrite and Nd:YAG lasers. Q switched Nd- YAG at longer wavelength that is 1064nm is more desirable in darker individuals for deeper lesions.
