Is It Safe Using Face Bleach While Breastfeeding?
Question: Hi....
I hv a two months old baby girl....i m breastfeeding her....she is completely on BF..i hv a function at home....so i used bleach on my face n neck in saloon....is it safe using bleach while breastfeeding???....one of my frnd said its nt gud to use bleach on skin while BF...i already hv used it....will it affect my baby???plzzz help...wat shud i do nw...plzzz

First and foremost I would like to reassure you that there is no cause for concern.
Single application of bleach will not affect the baby. It's unlikely that the ingredients of bleach will get absorbed into the blood and in turn be secreted in breast milk and affect the baby.
Bleach or chemical are preferably avoided during pregnancy and lactation as there have been no clinical studies done to demonstrate their safety.
Simple advise which I give the mothers is avoid it if possible.
