Question: Hi dr. I want to know is it safe to wash a newborn baby's clothes in normal detergent or baby detergents should be used? Secondly, should newborn babies be bathed in the baby bather or it should be used after some time?

Hi...coming to your queries directly -

1. You can use normal detergent for baby's clothes. But I suggest you dry them in direct sunlight light.

2. For Newborn baby use only clean water till at least 1 month of age. After that you can use mild soap like Tedybar and mild shampoo like Spoo shampoo.
