Brief Answer:
Details below.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
Traveling should be ideally avoided during pregnancy especially in first trimester and towards late third trimester.

However, if it is really necessary, then car journey is QUITE SAFE in pregnancy because of less jerks and comfort. So, you can travel by car if your pregnancy is NORMAL with fine health.

During travel, you can follow some general measures like:

- Better to prefer journey break after every two hours.

- Try to complete most of the journey in lying either supine or lateral positions.

- Prefer homemade food, AVOID eating food from outside and spicy/ fatty one.

- Before traveling better to consult with your GYNECOLOGIST once for check up and take care of nausea during travel.

- Take regular medicines, diet etc in time during traveling also.

Please feel free to discuss further. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.
Wishing you good health.
Regards.
