Is It Safe To Take Vyvanse Along With Adderall And Klonopin?

Question: What is your opinion on vyvanse 40ml, .5 mg klomopin and .5 lexapro for add, anxiety, depression and 10 ml of adderall ir if needed late in the afternoon.

The general rule of prescribing drugs is 'minimum drugs with maximum effects'.

Vyvanse and adderall are both stimulants.

These drugs together can cause adrenergic hyperactivity in body leading to hypertension and tachycardia.

Vyvanse has longer duration of action. If its working for you, no need totake adderall.

Lexapro and klonopin are fine for anxiety and depression.

In rare cases, lexapro with stimulants can increase agitation and restlessness. Consult your doctor if you develop these symptoms.

Klonopin can cause dependence if taken for long term. If your anxiety is controlled, consider stopping klonopin slowly.
